As Bedford Main Street is dedicated to enhancing the economic and cultural environment of Centertown, we host several events and activities that help to showcase downtown and draw new people and ideas into Bedford.
Annual Spring Gala
The Gala is the kick off event of every year! It is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the Main Street district of Bedford. There will be food and spirits provided by local restaurants and wineries, music by local performers, and a silent auction of locally sourced art, gifts, dining, and excursions.
Farmers Market
The Farmers Market is located at the corner of Washington and Center Streets. It is open Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the season runs April through October. Please refer to our Farmers Market page for more information.
Second Fridays
Second Fridays are your opportunity to experience Bedford by night! There is live music in the Centertown Plaza, retails shops stay open late for shopping, and the restaurants feature specials just for these nights!
Centerfest
This is our annual fall street festival where vendors come from across the state and even the Carolinas to sell jewelry, crafts, art, and much more. There is live music, a beer garden, carnival rides, and a vast variety of food. It’s fun for the whole community! Christmas
Our Christmas events include the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Window Decorating contests, the annual Parade, Santa Land with visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and carriage rides thru town!
